Hat Tip to the Brave

Every day, acts of bravery are done for us.

It may not come in the form of heroics, or flashy display of courage, but  sometimes it comes in small favors where somebody faced his or her fears out of love, respect, or duty.

Bravery comes in different forms.

But for me, the best kind of courage is one that is quiet. One that does not expect recognition.

I think being a coward has its perks. It allows me to see the brave things that people do in their life; things that they should pat themselves on the back for.

I know of a lot of brave people. I have witnessed acts of bravery numerous times.So to all you brave people out there, kudos to you!

As for me, I think I need to face my greatest fear before I can actually say that I have been remotely brave.  😉

~~~~~
Our Greatest Fear  by Marianne Williamson
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,we unconsciously give other peoplepermission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
